ScaleUP’s compensation is based on a combination of reasonable cash plus small equity in the new USA subsidiary. This allows Launch Dream to put its “skin” in the game while reducing the upfront cost for the international client and aligning the goals of both the parties. The ScaleUP USA program is divided into two distinct phases. Phase I is preliminary one-hour consultation by phone or video with the international client with the ScaleUP US executive charged at $499/hr. The focus of Phase I consulting is:
- Exploring and discussing the clients’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to grow their US business.
If there is further interest after this initial consultation the international firm signs up for the Phase II service through Launch Dream, by the signing of the Rules of Engagement MOU at a typical cost of $36,000 annually plus a small equity in the new US subsidiary. The focus of Phase II consulting is:
- Helping the client refine their existing US vision, strategy, plan, and the execution program for growth and provide ongoing business growth advice.
- Introduction to appropriate law firms, accountants and tax professionals for creation and compliance of the new US subsidiary.
- Identification of cost-effective, convenient, scalable and safe commercial co-working office space or virtual office for business operations.
- Posting of custom profiles on the ScaleUP marketplace for recruitment of US company executives, advisors, and subject matter experts.
- Posting of custom profiles on the ScaleUP marketplace for securing strategic partners and collaborators for growth in the US.
- Posting of custom profiles on the ScaleUP marketplace for announcing the entry of new products and services via the new subsidiary.
- Posting up to 12 specialty templates profiles on the ScaleUP marketplace based on the identified needs of the client.
